Saussy Burbank has started construction on the first phase of the Garden Cottages. The site has been cleared and work on the alleyways and other infrastructure has begun. The Garden Cottages will be located at the intersection of Sixth Baxter Crossing and Hugh Street. Annually, the Home Builders Association of Charlotte recognizes accomplishments of the last year in new home design and marketing. The winners receive a MAME (Major Achievement in Marketing Excellence) award.  The competition is always very good and the winners must stand out in a strong field  of challengers.  Last night at the Westin Hotel in uptown Charlotte, the MAME awards were presented.

Evans Coghill Homes Won a Big One

Evans Coghill Homes won the much sought after Best Custom Home of the Year above $500,000 for our River Cottage home plan. We are very proud to be recognized by our peers for this accomplishment. From the first introduction of the plan at Homearama 2011, the feedback has been very positive. Everyone appreciated the open flow of the home, the large outdoor space, the completely rethought use of the dining room and the fact all living space is on the main level.

The River Cottage plan is currently available in both Springfield and Baxter Village.
