A local favorite Vanilla Cornbread joins us to celebrate our annual Chili Dinner & our LAST Music in the Park of 2012! Bring out your family and friends to enjoy the last Music in the Park of the year, some great food, & fun for all!
We are bringing in Jim N Nick’s Catering Team to do the cooking for us! They will have plenty of their delicious chili, awesome mac-n-cheese, tasty sweet (and unsweet) iced tea and those wonderful cheese biscuits for us to enjoy. No RSVP necessary but come early with your concession money to be the first in line for a wonderful dinner!

Twilight Movie Night Friday, September 14th seating starts at 8:00 pm with cartoons and the movie at 8:20 pm. Bring your blankets, chairs, family, friends, popcorn and snacks to the Village Green on Colonel Springs Way.
Music in the Park Saturday, September 15th 7-10 pm at the Community Center Village Green. We are bringing in a little bit of Country music to celebrate the NEXT TO LAST Music in the Park. That’s right we only have 2 MORE nights of music for you to enjoy on the Green. Join us as we welcome TODD WELLS. Hailing from the musical city of Atlanta, this up and coming singer/songwriter has shared the stage with Zac Brown Band, Clay Cook, Jennifer Nettles from Sugarland, and Angie Aparo. The list continues to grow as he establishes himself as an anchor in the Atlanta/Nashville music scenes and beyond. Self-described as “a little singer-sonwriter with a twist of pop and poetic lyrics,” he is influenced by guys like Peter Gabriel, Sting, U2, Nick Drake, and Pearl Jam. A full day of Fun Saturday the 18th is in store. Award for Best Luau Attire!
Come enjoy the Back to School Luau the fun begins at noon and ends at 3.00pm at the Community Center Pool. Music will be provided by Little Dreamer Productions, as well as games, prizes, crafts and free pizza. Baxter Town Center Concessions will be available for sale.
Come out to the Community Center Green afterwards for music in the Park from 7.00-10.00pm. A Baxter favorite SUMMERDAZE is back to entertain. It’s Happy Hour Friendly, dinner concessions from Beef O’Bradys, Fun Times Shaved Ice and a Moon Bounce sponsored by Piedmont Medical Center.
